Doesn't snow just make being inside feel so cozy. I love looking
out the window at the snow falling down in the woods. Out
here in the country it feels like the world is standing still
while a coat of white is being painted on.

The Christmas Season

This is truly the most wonderful time of the year. Everything is sparkling with lights and color. People seem to be kinder and more sensitive. I love getting together with friends and family. The food and the noise combine to make a house full of Christmas cheer.

For several years I have painted a Christmas card and had it printed to send to my family and friends. I like this tradition so much but can't always pull it all together in time. Hopefully I'll get another one done in time for 2010 Christmas. I will post some pictures of some of them as soon as I learn just how to do that

Speaking of "in time", next year I am going to get Christmas Shopping done by November 1. That is my goal. I do hate the crowds and the traffic.
